What is vidly?

You probably know Giphy, the go-to-platform when you want to search and use a GIF somewhere. Especially in Slack it's a mighty app to enrich your conversations and enlighten your friends, family, colleagues or whomever you are talking to.

But there is one thing, which a GIF can not provide: Sound.

So if you want to rely on Sound, but also want to have a moving image, you come back to videos - and here vidly comes in place.

vidly is a small app which you can install into your workplace and then just use it like Giphy.

Due to it's nature there are just a couple of videos available but nobody says it can not grow :)

What can I do here?

This simple site just exists to generate a Slack-Token which can be used to use the awesome vidly-service - the little sister from Giphy, but with videos

How to use this app?

After you installed the app successfully, go to any of your slack-chats, type in /vidly [keyword] and let the magic happen
